1. Our Core Philosophy

We believe that browsing the web should not require surrendering your personal privacy. Camwyn & Co. operates on a zero-tracking static Jamstack architecture. We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral advertising beacons, marketing pixels, or invasive surveillance analytics.

2. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

This site uses client-side JavaScript (Alpine.js) to store interactive state—specifically your Adventure Compass archetype result—directly inside your browser's localStorage (under the key compassResult).

• This data remains 100% local to your device and browser session.
• We do not send your quiz answers, scores, or archetype results to any remote tracking database.
• You can clear your saved archetype at any time by clicking "Retake Compass" or clearing your browser's site data.

3. Project Intakes & Form Processing (Formspree)

When you send a project dispatch through our intake form on The Next Thing or email us directly at hello@camwyn.com, we collect the details you choose to share (such as your name, email address, project title, stage, and collaboration notes).

Our project intake form is processed via Formspree (Formspree.io) ↗, a third-party form backend service that securely encrypts and routes submissions directly to our team inbox over HTTPS.

• Form data is transmitted solely to allow us to review your inquiry and reply to you.
• We never sell, rent, monetize, or share your contact information with marketing third parties.

4. External CDNs, Fonts & Network Delivery

To ensure fast load times, typography rendering, and progressive enhancement, this website loads select assets from high-performance content delivery networks:

• Google Fonts ↗: Loads font files for DM Serif Display, Hanken Grotesk, and JetBrains Mono (via fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ ↗.

• Static Hosting / Edge CDN: Automatically logs standard, anonymous HTTP server request metadata (such as IP address, request path, and user-agent string) solely for DDoS mitigation, caching, and server security.

5. Client-Side Archive Search

The search bar in our Field Notes archive operates entirely within your browser. When activated, it downloads a static index (/search-index.json) generated during site builds. Your search queries and keywords are processed strictly on your device and are never transmitted to any external server or analytics tool.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Because we do not run user account systems or tracking databases, we do not hold profiles on our visitors. If you have contacted us via email or our intake form and would like your correspondence permanently deleted from our records, please reach out to support@camwyn.com and we will promptly delete all messages.
